Where Discipline Meets Harmony

The Spirit Behind Aikido Iran

Iran Aikido Arai Dojo began its official journey in 2015 under the leadership of Sensei Reza Samadi, with a clear mission to develop the spirit of Aikido in Iran while strengthening bonds with the global Aikido community. From its early years, the dojo became a gateway for Iranian practitioners to attend major events in Japan, including the World Aikido Congress, building strong cultural and martial ties between Iran and Japan. In 2020, after years of dedication, Arai Dojo achieved a historic milestone by gaining official recognition from Hombu Dojo in Tokyo, positioning itself as one of the five recognized dojos in Iran.

With active involvement from Japanese Shihans and a strong international network, Iran Aikido Arai Dojo continues to expand its role as a bridge between Iranian martial artists and the global Aikido family. Today, under the guidance of Sensei Reza Samadi and the domestic leadership of Sensei Nader Ostadrrahimi, the dojo hosts international seminars, conducts world-level examinations, and grows its presence across multiple provinces. Remaining committed to harmony, discipline, and cultural exchange, Arai Dojo strives to expand Aikido practice throughout Iran while preserving its deep connection to Aikido’s roots.
